What to do on a weekend...

My long weekend officially starts after in-service tomorrow where I hope to grade all afternoon, thus not taking work home. I was going to go to Bloomington to see the nieces, but the weather (and my mother's fear of the weather) is saying 'no'. So I am home...what to do?

Lay on the couch and watch television? I do have the Rome DVDs that HMElizabeth made for me. Ahh, Titus Pullo. He is a dreamboat. But I need to see him kill someone soon.

Go to the screening of Casino Royale at SIU? I would love to see that delightful Daniel Craig on the big screen. If I go, I have to take Annie. And watch her hyperventilate. That could be fun.

I could start that novel I've been thinking about for years. Or finish that book of poetry...

Ah, hell...who am I kidding. I'll lay around and eat Pop Tarts while surfing channels and wondering out loud why BBC American isn't really that good. How many episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Cash in the Attic do we need? At least they're running Spaced...
